I watch it with my parents and we nitpick the historical inaccuracies. If you are only one episode in, you have not yet met Branson, the Irish chauffeur. Be prepared to roll your eyes a lot; Julian Fellowes for some reason thought it was a great idea to make one of his characters a politically-engaged left wing Irishman without doing the slightest bit of research into Irish politics of the period.
